Paul Blart: Mall Cop. 3.5/5

Paul Blart: Mall Cop may be the most surprising movie I’ve seen since I started keeping track. No film with a title that includes the word “Blart” can be expected to be anything but awful awful awful. And yet it wasn’t an abomination! I don’t know. Maybe I just liked that the fat guy got the girl AND got to ride a Segway.

It’s is a good movie, but I’m not quite convinced it’s really that good a movie. A Best Picture winner should be awesome, and Slumdog Millionaire just isn’t there. Continue reading
